Mat Pilates is an accessible, low-impact exercise that builds strength, improves posture, and supports a mind-body connection.

​

Founded by German physical trainer and inventor Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, the mind-body practice follows six principlesBreath, Concentration, Centering, Control, Precision, and Flow. About 50 moves designed by Joseph Pilates comprise the groundwork for mat Pilates classes.

​

Wear comfortable clothes, bring your yoga mat, and some water. You are welcome to be barefoot or wear grippy socks. We will be working out on padded dojo mats. Please fill out the new client form to attend classes

It is important to attend weekly classes to see and feel the benefits of Pilates.

In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference,

in 20 you'll see the difference,

and in 30 you'll have a new body.”

24-hour cancelation policy in effect for group classes

Packages for classes are sold in blocks. There are no make-ups or refunded classes if you miss a week. 

Must be cleared by a Physician to participate in Lana June Health Studio.
