Including Pilates and massage on-site for your guests is a way to elevate what they experience at your retreat. Planning for a group, small or large, means a lot of attention to detail, and health and wellness can be a great way to break up the usual activities. Whether you're hunting, fishing, quilting, skiing, or there for work, Pilates and massage make space for wellness, strength, and team building.

At Pila-Teas, I offer a wellness boutique specializing in Pilates and massage. I hold a range of certifications and licenses to bring quality wellness services to your group, custom built around what fits your crew.

What retreat wellness services does Pila-Teas offer?

  • Mat Pilates, props included

  • Foam rolling

  • Self-massage (directed techniques you can apply yourself)

  • Aromatherapy and guided meditation

  • Massage, deep tissue or trigger point

  • Craniosacral work

  • Fertility massage and Mayan ceremonies

What happens in a group Pilates class?

Group classes start with how to protect and strengthen your spine, so you get the most out of the movement safely and gently. Your group will move through traditional Pilates exercises built to help everyone find form, function, and core strength, and I modify each exercise to fit wherever each person in the room happens to be. Classes are taught on a mat with Pilates props, magic circles, balls, foam rollers, all provided depending on group size. It's an accessible, low-lift way to bring real rejuvenation into your retreat.

  • 30, 45, or 60-minute class formats

  • Private one-on-one Pilates lessons, with 10 minutes of hands-on massage worked in

  • Self-guided massage can be integrated right into a group mat class

Can Pila-Teas do on-site table massages?

Yes. Table massages on-site are an easy bonus for each of your quests. Nothing beats ending a long day on the river, on the slopes, or in meetings with a massage. I work across a range of modalities, with a focus on deep tissue, neuromuscular, and rehabilitative massage, along with the more spiritual side of the practice, craniosacral and Mayan fertility massage. Just make sure there's enough room for a massage table and, ideally, somewhere to launder sheets between clients.

What should you consider when planning a Pilates-integrated retreat?

  • Space: is there room for everyone to lay out mats? Outdoor classes work too. If you want table massages, is there room for the table?

  • Pilates props (mats, magic circles, balls, foam rollers) can be provided for up to 8 guests, other arrangements can be worked out for larger groups

  • Timing: when in your retreat would a class fit best, and have your guests shown interest in this kind of wellness option?
