Pila-Teas is hosting a Pie and Tea Tasting on Sunday, November 8, from 10am to 1pm in our Victorian Tea Bar at 7269 Lowell Blvd, in the Penguin Building in Historic Westminster, CO. It's $15 per person, and that covers the tea tasting and delicious pie. You need to register ahead, and our last tasting sold out, so book your spot here.
I think of it as a wine tasting, but with tea. You taste your way through new fall flavors, jot down your impressions on a tea card, and reset your palate between pours with bites that match the theme of the tea party. This time, one of those bites is pie. No workouts, just tea.
Fall tea tasting in Westminster: Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, Butterscotch and Pumpkin Pie Chai
We're tasting four new fall teas: Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, Butterscotch, and Pumpkin Pie Chai.
Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie are the pie-inspired herbal pair, made to taste like the dessert without the crust. Butterscotch is a seasonal white tea that tastes as sweet as its name. Pumpkin Pie Chai is for anyone who wants the chai side of fall. All of them are organic, and you can take any of them home as a canister from the Tea Bar.
How the Pie and Tea Tasting works
Each tea gets a pour, a few minutes of your attention, and a note on your tea card. Between teas, you get palate cleansers that match the theme, and then the pie. Space and supplies are limited, so the group stays small and everyone gets a real taste.

The Tea Bar is stocked with organic seasonal teas to taste and purchase by the canister. If one follows you home, tasters get 10% off in-store purchases during the party.
